PROCEL O PROCEL - Programa Nacional de Conservação de Energia Elétrica (National Program on the Conservation of Energy) has been strongly acting in the subprogram "Educação" (Education) in various projects named "PROCEL NAS ESCOLAS"", to sensitize the electric energy consumer and to change his/her behaviour to a rational use of energy. SENAI-CIC SENAI of Paraná created in 1998 the Integrated Center of Technology and Professional Education of the Industrial City of Curitiba. It counts on labs specialized in water and water residues, microbiology, solid residues and instrumental analyzes in the environmental sphere, other than pneumatic and hydraulic labs, CNC and Autocad in the electronic and metal-mechanic areas. SPVS - Sociedade de Pesquisa em Vida Selvagem (Research Society in Wild Life) SPVS takes role in activities that include research, environmental education, the recuperation of degraded waters, protection of species in extinction, communitarian participation and information exchange. SPVS' work has concentrated on the Atlantic Rainforest, mainly in the Guaraqueçaba region, in the coast of Paraná, where it has been acting since 1991.
